ConnectApp is a conference and event engagement platform designed to support event organizers, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, and attendees through features including abstract and scientific programme management, messaging and networking, announcements, event schedules, sponsorship and advertising management, user profile management, and event analytics and reporting.
Users are responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts.
Users agree not to upload unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or offensive content; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts; distribute malware or harmful software; use the Platform for illegal activities; or misrepresent their identity.
Users acknowledge that communication is their responsibility, TekHaul is not responsible for user-generated communications, and certain communications may be monitored or moderated where necessary for safety, compliance, or platform integrity.
TekHaul may review, moderate, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms, creates legal risk, or is abusive, misleading, harmful, or inappropriate. This may apply to abstract comments, discussion forums, chat messages, user profiles, and uploaded materials.
Users retain ownership of their submitted content. By uploading content, users grant TekHaul a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process content for platform functionality and generate event analytics. This license terminates when the content is deleted or the event concludes, except where retention is required by law.
All Event Data remains the property of the Organizer. TekHaul acts solely as a data processor and service provider. Upon conclusion of an event, event data may be exported and delivered to the Organizer, and will subsequently be deleted according to our retention policies. TekHaul acquires no ownership rights in Organizer data.
Organizers may request an export of Event Data. TekHaul will provide available export formats where technically feasible. Data may be retained temporarily for support, dispute resolution, system recovery, and compliance purposes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Event Data will be permanently deleted from active systems after the retention period.
Following data export and deletion notification, organizers may request verification, audit, or confirmation of retained records. Audit requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days. After the audit period expires, TekHaul may permanently erase all remaining event-related records except where legally required.
Sponsors and advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their content, compliance with applicable laws, and obtaining rights to all materials submitted. TekHaul does not endorse sponsor products or services.
TekHaul aims to provide reliable service but does not guarantee continuous availability, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. Scheduled maintenance may occur periodically. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TekHaul shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or data loss caused by user actions or third-party systems. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Organizer for the applicable event.
Users and Organizers agree to indemnify and hold TekHaul harmless from claims arising from user content, violation of these Terms, infringement of intellectual property rights, or misuse of the Platform.
TekHaul may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are violated, security risks exist, required by law, or payment obligations are not fulfilled.
TekHaul may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions become effective upon publication. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation before legal proceedings are initiated.
